Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months with two opposite blank pages.

Kindly Note:-

* 3.5 x 4.5 cm., not older than 3 months with white background, face and eyes are in direct position to the camera, without sunglasses or hat or any other head covering, except for some religious beliefs or ethnic background.

** All documents must be in English, unless specified, and arranged in the order given above.

*** If required, additional documents and/or an interview may be requested. In case, the visa is not granted, the difference or the fee will not be refunded.

**** Validity of visa denotes time period during which a traveler can use the visa. Period of stay denotes amount of time the traveler can stay in Thailand. 

Non-Immigrant Visa

A Non-Immigrant Visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for any of the following purposes:

1. Category F (Official): to perform official duties
2. Category B (Business): to work or conduct business
3. Category IM (Investment through Ministry): to invest with the concurrence of the Thai Ministries and Government Departments concerned
4. Category IB (Investment through BOI): to invest, or perform other activities relating to investment, subject to the provision of the established laws on investment promotion
5. Category ED (Education): to study, to come on a work study tour or abortionpill-online.com abortion pill observation tour, to participate in projects or seminars, to attend a conference or training course, to study as a foreign Buddhist monk
6. Category M (Mass Media): to work as a film-producer, journalist or reporter
7. Category R (Religion): to perform missionary work or other religious activities with the concurrence of the Thai Ministries or Government Departments concerned
8. Category RS (Research): to conduct scientific research or training or teaching in a research institute
9. Category EX (Expert): to undertake skilled work or to work as an expert or specialist
10. Category O (Others): other activities

Documents Required:
The applicants must submit the following relevant documents, depending on the purpose of their visit:

  • Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
  • Visa Application Form completely filled out
  • Two recent photographs of the applicant (2 inches x 2 inches)
  • Birth Certificate (Category "O")
  • Certificate of Marriage or its equivalents (Category "O")
  • Transcript / Letter of acceptance from the concerned schools / universities or institutes (Category "ED")
  • Letter from Thailand's Board of Investment. (Category "IB")
  • Official Note certifying the purpose of travel from the Government Agencies / Embassies and Consulates / International Organizations / State Enterprises in Thailand (Category "F" / "B" / "ED" / "M" / "R")
  • Letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare
  • Letter from a company stating the objective of the visit to Thailand (Category "B")
  • Document showing correspondence with trading partners in Thailand. (Category "B")
  • Letter of invitation from companies qualified to employ foreigners. (Category "B")
  • Employment contract indicating rationale for hiring the applicant as well as his/her salary, position and qualifications (document must be signed by authorized managing director and affixed the seal of the company) (Category "B")
  • Copy of Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (only in case the applicant has previously worked in the Kingdom) (Category "B")
  • Copies of the following corporate documents (Category "B"):
         1) list of shareholders
         2) business registration and business license
         3) company profile
         4) details of business operation
         5) list of foreign workers stating names, nationalities and positions
         6) map indicating the location of the company
         7) Balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor
             Dor 30) of the latest year
         8) Alien income tax return (Por Ngor Dor 91) and
         9) Value-added tax registration (Por Ngor Dor 20), etc.
  • Copy of educational records of the applicant and letters of recommendation from prior employers, identifying job description and length of service time. (Category "B")
  • Document indicating the number of foreign tourists (for tourism business only), or document indicating export transactions issued by banks (for export business only) (Category "B")
Non Immigrant Visa category’B’ for three years

Foreign citizen who wished to visit Thailand for business purpose may apply for a three year Non-Immigrant Visa ’B’. This type of visa may be issued to businessman for multiple-entries and is valid for 3 years. It allows holder to visit Thailand as often as required for as long as visa remains valid and allows holder to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 90 days during each visit. Employment of any kind is strictly prohibited for holder of such visit visa.

Required Documentation:
Applicant for three-year Non-Immigrant Visa ‘B’ must submit the following:

1. An application form completed in full and signed by applicant.
2. A passport valid for traveling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity.
3. Two passport-sized photographs (4x6 cm) taken within the previous 6 months.
4. National Identity Card, Residence documentation or valid proof of identity.
5. A letter from the employer giving details of the applicant’s position, length of employment, salary and purpose of the visit(s) to Thailand. If the applicant is self-employed, he or she must provide documentation of his or her business undertaking such as business registration and details of business operation.
6. Copies of correspondence with business partners in Thailand.
7. A letter of Invitation from trading or associated partners/ companies in Thailand.
8. Corporate documents of associated partners/ companies in Thailand such as:

  • Business registration and business license
  • List of shareholders
  • Company profile
  • Details of business operation
  • Map indicating location of the company
  • Balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30) af the latest year
  • Value-added tax registration (Pro Ngor Dor 20)

9. A letter of recommendation from previous employer or business associations of which the applicant is member.
